Interestingly enough, it’s not required by the FAA to demonstrate any kind of flight proficiency or competency during the certification process.

That said, we understand that many of you are looking for hands-on guidance when it comes to things like flying safely and understanding how to set up autonomous flight modes.
We’ve trained over 800 students across the country under our parent company, UAV Coach. We manage a team of expert flight instructors (our coaches) and love working with both individuals and teams.
Our classes are outdoors, and you can book time with one of our expert coaches individually in a 1:1 class (two hours) or as part of a group (up to 4 hours).
Unlike other in-person drone training programs, we don’t sit you in a hotel conference room and run through PowerPoint slides. We really focus on the “hands-on” element, and you’ll get plenty of flight time.
You can learn more about our flight training offerings and common questions over here.
