When he’s not flying his DJI Phantom 3 professionally over at Remotely Possible, Scott Lashmit heads up customer support for Drone Pilot Ground School. Scott has been a high school science teacher for the past seven years. He began flying small unmanned aerial systems in 2014, when one of his students introduced him to his first training drone, a Hubsan X4.
From there, Scott has continued to grow his own fascination with sUAS and their ability to provide novel, unique applications in a large variety of industries. Scott seeks to provide these service applications to companies, schools, and individuals while also working to increase the public’s awareness, to promote safe flying practices, and to help incorporate sUAS into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) curricula, helping to drive innovation and provide guidance to the next generation of drone pilots.
